Sudden Strike 2

Sudden Strike 2 was also developed by Russian developer Fireglow and published by CDV and was released in 2002. The game has since undergone minor changes in its game engine and now features a higher resolution setting and other graphical changes. The campaign still involves the Soviets and Allies, against the Germans and a new country, Japan. While striving for historical accuracy, the missions are mostly fiction. The American missions are in the Rhine regions and tend to involve 'borrowing' war equipment from the German army rather than using their own tanks

and other weapons. The British missions revolves around the actual events at Wolfheze and Arnhem and the attempted capture of the bridge. The Japanese missions are centered along the lines of tropical jungle warfare and the use of tanks is somewhat limited whereas the Soviet campaign is based on the capture of the city of Kharkov and other battles along the Dniepr river waged by the Soviet Red Army
The Sudden Strike 2 free game for pc full version download series is a collection of real-time tactics (RTT) computer games set in World War II. The player selects a faction (e.g. Soviets, Germans, or Allied forces) and gains control of many varied units such as infantry, tanks and artillery. The games focus primarily on tactics, eschewing traditional real-time strategy resource gathering and base development. The series is developed by Fireglow of Cyprus and published by CDV software of Germany

The original Sudden Strike, released in 2000, included three campaigns (Soviets, Germans, and Allied forces). The battles are presented in an isometric perspective with line-of-sight occlusions and practical cover. Sudden Strike helped pioneer the real-time tactics genre, building upon concepts established by Counter Action for DOS, which was published by Mindscape/SSI in 1996.

Sudden Strike utilizes accurate in-game physics with houses and buildings obstructing units' view, line-of-sight and firing range whereas clumps of trees can provide cover to reduce the damage of tank ordnance. The game allows units to garrison a building for a stronger firing position, especially valuable for anti-tank infantry. Units can also hold their fire, providing much-needed reconnaissance. Damage evaluation is also realistic; tanks or other vehicles that take too much damage are rendered immobile unless repairs are made.

For most of the missions, although a complete briefing is given, historical context is not provided; the player is only given specific instructions and objectives to accomplish. O comeback after receiving much-needed reinforcements. The same scenario is also playable from the German perspective.
Sudden Strike Forever

Sudden Strike Forever is an official add-on to Sudden Strike which introduces many more historically correct units and equipment, such as the upgraded Soviet T-34 tank (1944 version). New terrains are also provided: a desert terrain for the British missions in Tobruk and Tripoli and snow terrains for Soviet missions. The expansion also polished the game engine, balanced the damage of certain units, and added a map and scenario editor.

The add-on includes 4 inter-linked scenarios for each of the campaigns for the Germans, the American, the British and the Soviets. Other units which are added into the add-on includes, but not limited to the Universal Carrier for the British; the BR-5 artillery, 160mm grenade launcher for the Soviet forces and more. The supply system has also been tweaked with artillery crews automatically resupplying themselves with ammo crates nearby instead of relying on supply trucks to do the job. The supply trucks would still be needed to repair damages inflicted on these artillery units, however.

The German campaign puts the player into the winter setting of Russian hinterlands with limited troops and reinforcements available, thus relying on use of captured Soviet artillery as well as equipment. The British campaign deals with the defense of an unnamed seaport from German attacks, whereas the American campaign probably takes place in France during the autumn season as the foliage on the vegetation suggest. The Soviet campaign involves a large armored division counter-attack on Russian soil and the storming of the Wehrmacht-controlled airfields. As with the earlier Sudden Strike original campaigns, the briefings do not explain the historical setting of the campaign, thus only issuing standardized orders to the player to e.g. dispel enemy attacks or to simply take over a designated airfield in the east and so on. The add-on also includes 5 new single player individual scenarios

Darkest of Days 2009

download game free pc Darkest of Days 2009 Darkest of Days is a first-person shooter video game developed by 8monkey Labs and published by Phantom EFX. It was released in North America and Europe on September 8, 2009 for Microsoft Windows and the Xbox 360. Darkest of Days takes the player through time into historic battles in an effort to save key individuals from certain death. The battles range from Custer’s Last Stand at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876 to fighting in Pompeii as ash and fire rain down from an erupting Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. Other locations include the battles of Antietam and Tannenberg, and a German World War II P.O.W. camp. There are different missions in every time period and the game takes about 10 hours to complete.

The game features over twenty weapons, both from the original time period as well as those brought back from the future. In addition, there are artillery weapons from different time periods to assist in battle. Players are also required to save certain other individuals who are important to the continuity of history. There are two types of characters who fall into this category: the first types are the key individuals that the player must rescue so that they can be placed back into their correct place in time who are represented with an orange aura. The second type is a random character marked with a blue aura and can be saved by wounding them in their limbs or using a weapon called chasers that knock them out. This way the characters are taken out of the battle without being killed. If one of the blue aura individuals are killed by the player, however, this can trigger a visit by the Opposition who use the disturbance caused by their death to track down and attempt to kill them. Opposition agents tend to be heavily armed and shielded making many period weapons all but useless against their superior technology. They are not completely indestructible, however, and can be killed allowing the player the opportunity to seize their weapons

DARK MESSIAH Of Might and Magic Limited

download game free pc The game emphasizes environmental combat, by way of using scripted traps or terrain features. Actions include cutting ropes to release heavy objects, kicking enemies over a cliff or into a bed of spikes, and breaking support beams to collapse a structure and crush enemies underneath. Enemies are generally difficult to kill in straightforward combat, although characters developed for this purpose may have an easier time. Characters with high stealth can sneak up behind enemies and perform a lethal backstab maneuver, while players skilled with a bow can use it to snipe enemies from a distance.Magic spells can be used to damage the enemy, heal the

player, or serve a number of utility purposes. As the player completes objectives throughout the game, Dark Messiah awards experience points that can be used to buy skills in one of three skill trees: Combat, Magic, and Miscellaneous. The Combat tree improves the power and efficiency of physical attacks. The Magic tree grants access to new spells. The Miscellaneous tree contains general improvements, including Stealth.Although some enemies will drop remains when killed, looting in Dark Messiah is mostly a fixed affair. Valuable items are placed in specific locations for the player to find. Each item has fixed stats, and the selection of items is also limited, with only a small number of different weapons or armor in each category. Additionally, advanced items typically have a skill requirement, with the end result being that the character equips only a handful of different items over the course of the game, as allowed by skill selections

The stony outcrop dominates the moor, and boasts several unnerving stories; from unexplainable glowing lights, to this latest horrifying incident. Are some places cursed? Or, are they haunted by those who went before? THE PAST HOLDS THE KEY. Thrown into the ancient past of the Bronze Age people, you will find the true origins of the nightmare. Sega schedules Tournament of Legends for May 18

game free pc full version download High Voltage Software’s M-for-Mature Wii-exclusive fighter Gladiator A.D. resurfaces with T-for-Teen targeted fantasy makeover. The team behind the Wii first-person shooter The Conduit is reuniting for another go at Nintendo’s console. Sega today announced that it will be partnering with High Voltage Software for Tournament of Legends. Tournament of Legends features a

cast of fantasy archetypes, including the minotaur here. Set for release on the Wii, Tournament of Legends is a fantasy-focused 3D fighting game. Players will be able to jump into one-on-one battles with a roster of mythological combatants, including a minotaur, gorgon, golem, gladiator, valkyrie, and more. The fantasy focus follows through to the fights themselves, as players will be able to cast magic and summon assistance from the likes of man-eating lions and venomous snakes in their fights. The game is being built on High Voltage’s Quantum 3 engine, the same technology behind The Conduit and the studio’s other announced game, The Grinder. Tournament of Legends is a revamped version of High Voltage’s Gladiator A.D., announced last year without a publisher attached. But where that game featured a grim, almost certainly M-for-Mature-rated take, Sega confirmed for GameSpot that it is targeting a T-for-teen rating for Tournament of Legends. Gladiator A.D. looked awfully different, but some details (like the level architecture) are still recognizable. The apparent toning down of Gladiator A.D. into Tournament of Champions marks an about face for Sega, which had been a prominent publisher of Wii titles aimed at older gamers. Last year, the company released the M-for-Mature-rated duo of House of the Dead: Overkill and PlatinumGames’ MadWorld. Although those games’ sales were passable and disappointing, respectively, Sega president and COO Mike Hayes in August told Wired that the company was still open to adult-focused titles on Nintendo’s system. Tournament of Legends will debut in North American on May 18. The European launch is set for an unspecified May arrival.

The King of Dragons

The King of Dragons is a 1991 side-scrolling hack and slash arcade game by Capcom that allows players to choose from five characters (Elf, Wizard, Fighter, Cleric, and Dwarf) in order to travel through the kingdom of Malus and defeat the monsters that have taken over, as well as their leader, the red dragon Gildiss. The setting is very similar to that of Dungeons and Dragons and other medieval fantasy worlds, with familiar monsters such as Orcs, Gnolls, Harpies, Wyverns, Cyclopes, and Minotaurs. The game has 16 levels, though many are quite short

Much like Capcom’s Knights of the Round, King of Dragons features an RPG-like level advancement system. Points scored for killing monsters and picking up gold count towards experience, and the character gains levels at regular intervals. With each level, the character’s health bar increases, other attributes such as range improve, and the character also becomes invulnerable for a few seconds. Along the way, different weapon and armor upgrades for each character may also be picked up.
King of Dragons features a simple control system that consists of a single attack button, and a jump button. By pressing both buttons, the character unleashes a magical attack that strikes all enemies in screen (its strength varies according to the character used) at the expense of losing energy. The fighter, cleric and dwarf can also use their shield to block certain attacks by tilting the joystick back right before the impact Gameplay of The King of Dragons.
Elf
The elven archer has the greatest range and speed of all the characters. However, he can not equip a shield and he suffers from low defense and weak attack strength. Furthermore, the elf’s defense never increases through the course of the game and his jump is slower than that of both the Fighter and Wizard. By obtaining better bows the Elf increases the speed at which he fires arrows and their range, while arrow upgrades increase attack strength.
Wizard
The wizard wields only a magical staff. He has fairly low defense and average speed, but the best magic and the second best range. His attack power is weak early on, but extremely powerful later in the game. The speed at which the Wizard attacks does not improve, but is alleviated by the multi-hitting ability of his later staves. Defense is improved by various magical upgrades such as rings and amulets.
Fighter
The Fighter has the second strongest attack power. His range and speed easily outperform the other shield-carrying heroes (Cleric and Dwarf) and his jump is faster and higher. The Fighter gains HP the fastest and his speed can make his defense almost as good as the Cleric’s. The main thing he lacks is magic, at which he is the weakest.
Cleric
The cleric is the largest hero in the game. He has fairly good magic and attack strength, as well as the best defense, although he is a bit slow and has the worst agility of the bunch, able to make only short, and slow hops. He also carries a shield and gains levels much faster than anyone else. His recovery, after using the shield, is the fastest in the game. Whenever the cleric picks up a healing item he heals his teammates too, although it depends on the other character how often this works.
Dwarf
The Dwarf, as his name suggests, is the smallest target of the five. He has the slowest melee attack speed and the second strongest defense, is fairly quick, and also has a shield. The Dwarf has also the longest jump; however, he has fairly weak magic and the worst range: every third strike is a ranged strike (unlike the Cleric and Fighter who alternate between a close and ranged strike). Thanks to his short height, the dwarf cannot be hit by ranged attacks from enemies.
The game was ported to the Super NES in 1994. This port reduces the number of simultaneous players down to 2. The sprites’ size were also reduced moderately. It is also possible to assign the magic attack and shield defense to different buttons.
The arcade version is part of Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2, which was released for the PS2 & Xbox in November 2006. This was also in Capcom Classics Collection: Reloaded for the PlayStation Portable.
Game features
This was one of the many Capcom games to feature the Yashichi power-up item. In this game, there are three hidden throughout the game, each giving the player an extra continue. Also, although it might be a coincidence, the game’s overall style and setting are very similar to the games Capcom later made using the Dungeons & Dragons license in the mid ’90s. However, the gameplay was greatly changed.
The music in this game was composed by Yoko Shimomura. Some of the monster voices are identical to those made by Toho Kaiju such as Anguirus and King Ghidorah

Warcraft 3

Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos (often referred to as War3 or WC3 or RoC) is a real-time strategy computer game released by Blizzard Entertainment on July 3, 2002 (US). It is the second sequel to Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, and it is the third game set in the Warcraft Universe. An expansion pack, The Frozen Throne, was released on July

1, 2003 (US).
Warcraft III contains four playable races:[1] Humans and Orcs, which had previously appeared in Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness, and the Night Elves and Undead, which are new to the Warcraft mythos.[2] Warcraft III’s single-player campaign is laid out similarly to that of StarCraft (another Blizzard game), being told through all four of the game’s races in a progressive manner. In the expansion there are two additional races: the Draenei, a race of eredar who are cursed to be abominations, and the Naga, a race of vile serpents and other creatures that come from the depths of the sea. Multiplayer mode allows for play against other people, via the internet, instead of playing against computer-controlled characters as is done in the single-player custom game mode. Due to the dual storylines of the previous Warcraft games, the story can only be understood if using the proper storylines of one of the campaigns in the previous games, being the Orc Campaign on Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and the Human Campaigns on both the Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness and Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal.
The game proved to be one of the most anticipated and popular computer game releases ever, with 4.5 million units shipped to retail stores and over one million units sold within a month Warcraft III won many awards including “Game of the Year” from more than six different publications
The events played out in Warcraft III eventually set the stage for Blizzard’s first MMORPG, World of Warcraft, and its subsequent expansions A game of Warcraft III takes place on a map of varying size, such as large plains and fields, with terrain features like rivers, mountains, seas, or cliffs. In Campaign mode, the map is initially covered with the Black Mask, a dark layer which obscures the landscape beneath until it is explored. The Black Mask, once gone, is permanently removed.[5] Areas that have been explored but no longer are within sight range of an allied unit or building are covered with the fog of war. Though terrain remains visible, changes such as enemy troop movements and building construction are unseen.[5] During a game, players must establish settlements to gain resources, defend against other players, and train units to explore the map and attack enemies (computer controlled foes). There are three main resources that are managed in Warcraft III: gold, lumber, and food.[6] The first two are required to construct units and buildings, while food restricts the maximum number of units the player may control at one time.[7]
The game also introduces creeps, computer controlled units that are hostile to all players.[8] Creeps guard key areas such as gold mines or neutral buildings and, when killed, provide experience points, gold, and special items to a player’s hero.[8] Warcraft III also introduced a day/night cycle to the series.[9] Besides having advantages or disadvantages for certain races, at night most creeps fall asleep, making nighttime scouting safer; however, the line of sight for most units is also reduced. Other minor changes to the gameplay were due to the 3D terrain. For instance, units on a cliff have an attack bonus when attacking units at lower elevations.[2]
In previous Warcraft games, there were only two playable races, Orcs and Humans, which had more similarities than differences. Barring cosmetic changes, most Orc units were identical to their Human counterparts. In Warcraft III, the Night Elves and the Undead are added as playable races.[1] Additionally, as in StarCraft, each race has a unique set of units, structures, technologies, and base-building methodology.
In addition, Warcraft III adds powerful new units called heroes. For each enemy unit killed, a hero will gain experience points, which allow the hero to level-up to a maximum level of 10. Progressing up a level increases the heroes attributes and also allows the hero to gain new spell options (bringing RPG elements to the series).[10] Certain hero abilities can apply beneficial auras to allied units. All heroes can equip items to increase skills, defense, and other abilities. At level six, the hero can obtain an “ultimate” skill that is more powerful than the three other spells that the hero possesses. Heroes can also utilize the various natural resources found throughout the map, such as controllable non-player characters, and markets in which the hero can purchase usable items.[11] Often, the playing style of one’s hero units (it is bound up to three at one time) decides who wins or loses the match/battle.
Campaign
Warcraft III’s campaign mode is broken up into five campaigns (Including prologue), each featuring a different race which the player controls (2 orc campaigns, 1 Human, 1 undead, and 1 Night elf). Each campaign is itself divided into chapters, which are like missions. Unlike previous Blizzard titles, such as Warcraft II or StarCraft, players are not directed to mission briefings in which plot exposition occurs and objectives are announced; rather, Warcraft III uses a system of “seamless quests.”[12] Some plot development happens in an occasional cinematic, but most occurs in-game with cutscenes. Objectives, known as quests, are revealed to the player during the progress of the map. Main quests are those that the player must complete to proceed to the next chapter, but there are also optional quests which are not initially revealed, but can be discovered and completed alongside the main objectives.
Through each race’s campaign, the player retains control of one or more heroes, which slowly grow in experience as the levels progress. This experience is carried over to subsequent missions, allowing the hero to grow throughout the course of the campaign.
While different in terms of storyline and precise gameplay, all of the different races’ campaigns are structured similarly. Each begins with a level involving simple mechanics to introduce the player to the race and the basic elements of their hero and units. After one or two such levels the player’s first “building mission” occurs, requiring them to build and maintain a base while competing with one or more enemy forces. The only campaign that breaks this pattern is the Night Elf campaign, whose first mission involves building a limited base. The last level of each race’s campaign is an “epic battle” which means that the player has to strike down a large number of enemy foes and finally destroy their main base. For that, the player has to use the knowledge he acquired during the latest quests and also has to invent some war-strategies.
Multiplayer
While campaign games can have many different objectives, the sole objective in melee games is to destroy all the opposition buildings. In default melee matches, players can pick their own heroes, and losing one will not end the game. To make the game proceed more quickly, by default the map is covered in fog of war instead of the Black Mask.[2] Warcraft III, like Blizzard’s previous title StarCraft, allows for single and multiplayer replays to be recorded and viewed, allowing a game to be played at slower and faster speeds and viewed from the perspective of all players.[13] Like all previous Blizzard titles since Diablo, Warcraft III uses the Battle.net multiplayer network. Players can create free accounts in regional “gateways,” which helps reduce lag; these are Azeroth (U.S. East), Lordaeron (U.S. West), Northrend (Europe), and Kalimdor (Asia).[14] Unlike previous Battle.net-enabled games, Warcraft III introduced anonymous matchmaking, automatically pairing players for games based on their skill level and game type preferences, preventing players from cheating and inflating their records artificially.[15] If players want to play with a friend in ranked matches, Warcraft III offers “Arranged Team Games”, where a team joins a lobby and Battle.net will search for another team; as with anonymous matchmaking, the enemy team is not known beforehand.[15] Players can also host custom games, using maps either created in the Warcraft III World Editor, or the default multiplayer scenarios. The game also offers Friends Lists and Channels for chatting, where players can create custom channels or join Blizzard-approved ones.[16] Warcraft III also allows players to band together to form “clans”, which can participate in tournaments or offer a recreational aspect to Warcraft III. Global scores and standings in matchmaking games are kept on a “ladder”.[17] These rankings can be checked online without the need of the game.
Due to the latest patch, version 1.24, many third-party programs have been rendered unusable. Several third-party programs that reveal the entire map, commonly known as maphacks, have been released for the update. It also disabled collided maps, which would make modified custom maps appear to be the same as the original. Another effect of the patch, which is not included in the release notes, is that custom maps with large filenames will not appear in the game. The limit is believed to be 20 characters, but this has not yet been tested.[18]
This patch also rendered many custom maps unplayable due to custom map scripts. Even some versions of the famous Defense of the Ancients were no longer functioning.
Synopsis
Setting
A small Human army (red) attacking an Orcish base (blue).
Warcraft III takes place in the fictional world of Azeroth. Several years before the events of the games, a demon army known as the Burning Legion intent on Azeroth’s destruction corrupted a race called the Orcs, and sent them through a portal to attack Azeroth. After many years of fighting, the Orcs were defeated by a coalition of humans, dwarves and elves known as the Alliance; the surviving combatants were herded into internment camps, where they seemed to lose their lust for battle. With no common enemy, a period of peace followed, but the Alliance began to fracture. The events of Warcraft III occur after a timeskip from Warcraft II. This period was originally intended to have been documented in Warcraft Adventures, but that game was canceled in mid-development.[19]
Plot
The game’s plot is told entirely through cinematics and cutscenes, with additional information found in the Warcraft III manual. The campaign itself is divided into five sections, with the first acting as a tutorial, and the others telling the story from the point of view of the humans of Lordaeron, the Undead Scourge, the Orcs, and the Night Elves, in that order.
The game opens with the Orc leader, Thrall, waking from a nightmare warning him of the return of the Burning Legion.[20] After a brief encounter with a man who is known only as “the Prophet”, and, fearing that his dream was more of a vision than a nightmare, he leads his forces in an exodus from Lordaeron to the forgotten lands of Kalimdor.[21]
Meanwhile, the Paladin and prince of Lordaeron, Arthas, defends the village of Strahnbrad from demon-controlled Orcs.[22] He enchants his warhammer via slaying Searinox, the black drake, and one of King Deathwing’s finest warlords. He then joins Archmage Jaina Proudmoore, who aids him in investigating a rapidly-spreading plague, which kills and turns human victims into the undead. Arthas kills the plague’s originator, Kel’Thuzad, and then purges the infected city of Stratholme. Jaina parts ways with him, unwilling to commit genocide, or even watch him do so. The Prophet, after previously trying to convince other human leaders to flee west, begs Jaina to go to Kalimdor as well.[23] Arthas pursues the dreadlord, Mal’Ganis, who was the leader behind Kel’Thuzad, to the icy continent of Northrend, where he helps his old friend, Muradin Bronzebeard, find a powerful sword called Frostmourne. Meanwhile, Arthas begins to lose his sanity, burning his ships to prevent retreat, even when given an order to leave. Fortunately, Arthas and Muradin find Frostmourne. Muradin, however, learns that the sword is cursed.[24] Arthas disregards the warning, and offers his soul to gain the sword. By doing so, Muradin was struck down by a shard of ice when Frostmourne is released, and is presumably killed. Arthas supposedly kills Mal’Ganis, and abandons his men in the frozen north as his soul is stolen by the blade, which was later revealed to be forged by the Lich King. Some time later, Arthas returns to Lordaeron and kills his father, King Terenas.
Now a Death Knight, Arthas meets with the leader of the dreadlords, Tichondrius, who assigns him a series of “tests”. Arthas first exhumes the remains of Kel’Thuzad, contains it in a magic urn of the ashes of his father, which was protected by Uther. Arthas kills him too, then sets off to Quel’thalas, kingdom of the high elves. He then later attacks the gates and destroys their capital of Silvermoon. He kills Sylvanas Windrunner, the Ranger General of Silvermoon (only to resurrect her as a banshee), corrupts their sacred Sunwell and revives Kel’Thuzad as a Lich. The Lich informs him of the Burning Legion; a vast demonic army who are coming to consume the world. Kel’Thuzad’s true master is the Lich King, who was created to aid the Legion with his Undead Scourge, but in truth he wishes for the Legion to be destroyed. Arthas and Kel’Thuzad open a dimensional portal and summon the demon Archimonde and the Burning Legion, who begins his purging of Lordaeron with the destruction of Dalaran. Arthas and Kel’Thuzad were cast aside by Archimonde, and Kel’Thuzad reveals to Arthas the Lich King has already foreseen it and is planning to overthrow the Burning Legion.
Thrall arrives on Kalimdor, meeting Cairne Bloodhoof and the tauren, and clashes with a human expedition on the way to find an Oracle. Meanwhile, the Warsong clan are left behind in Ashenvale to build a permanent settlement, but anger the Night Elves and their demigod Cenarius by cutting down the forests for resources. To defeat them, the Warsong leader Grom Hellscream drinks from a corrupted fountain of health contaminated with the blood of the Legion’s pit lord commander Mannoroth, successfully killing Cenarius, but binding his clan to the Legion’s control. Thrall manages to reach the Oracle, in fact the Prophet, who tells him of Grom’s doings. Following the Prophet’s directions, Thrall and Jaina join forces to purge both Grom and the world of demonic influence. They succeed in capturing Grom and healing him of Mannoroth’s corruption. Thrall and Grom begin to hunt Mannoroth and Grom kills him, dying in the process, but in doing so freeing the orcs from the demonic control of Mannoroth at last.
Tyrande Whisperwind, leader of the Night Elves, is outraged to find the humans and orcs violating the forests, so she initially vows to destroy them. However, she soon finds out that the Burning Legion has arrived on Kalimdor. In order to oppose the Burning Legion, Tyrande reawakens the sleeping Elf Druids, starting with her lover, Malfurion Stormrage, and frees his brother Illidan Stormrage from prison. Illidan meets Arthas, who tells him about the powerful “Skull of Gul’dan”. Consuming the Skull and becoming a demon-elf hybrid, Illidan uses its power to kill Tichondrius. He is however banished from the forest by his brother as he is now part demon. Meanwhile, the Prophet summons Thrall, Jaina, Tyrande and Malfurion, and reveals that he used to be Medivh, the Last Guardian and the betrayer from Warcraft: Orcs & Humans. The humans, Orcs, and Night Elves form a reluctant alliance to spring a trap on the Burning Legion, and delayed him long enough for many ancestral spirits to destroy Archimonde at Mount Hyjal. Peace once again comes to Kalimdor as the Burning Legion’s forces wither away in defeat

Freedom Fighters

Freedom Fighters free pc game download full version originally titled Freedom: The Battle For Liberty Island, is a 2003 third-person shooter video game available for the PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, Xbox and Microsoft Windows that is set in an alternate history. The player takes the role of Christopher Stone, a plumber-turned American Resistance movement leader who fights against the Red Army that invades and occupies New York City. It was developed by IO Interactive, using a modified version of the Hitman 2: Silent Assassin game engine, and published by Electronic Arts

Freedom Fighters is a third-person shooter, in which the player navigates through the streets of New York while fighting the Soviet forces. The game also contains squad-based elements, having a charisma meter. The player gains charisma by performing heroic deeds in the resistance movement against the invading forces, like capturing a base or destroying vital supplies. The more charisma that is gained, the more squadmates the character can recruit, including leaderless guerrillas and wounded Russian soldiers, up to a maximum of twelve.
Freedom Fighters uses a simple method of controlling recruits in battle. In the game, the player can command recruits by giving them simple orders such as “follow”, “attack”, and “defend”, but in most situations, they take care of themselves. Given the terrain of New York City after the initial invasion, the Resistance usually stations its soldiers in covered positions like craters and buildings Multiplayer Multiplayer revolves around securing flags and bunkers. The flag that a player needs to capture and hold is usually in the center of the map. Bunkers are positioned around the map, and spawn either Soviet soldiers or American freedom fighters. Players can know who the bunkers belong to because of a star above each one; a Soviet bunker is marked by a red star, while an American bunker is marked by a blue star. In each game, there can be up to four players, who can choose between the Soviet and American sides. Each side has a different set of weapons. The players can switch weapons in battle. In each map, there are several areas where weapons and ammunition are stored. Each bunker also has one medical kit and one ammunition can, so every bunker is vitally important. Each player also has their charisma meter set to eight, so each player can have a maximum of eight soldiers under their command; however, if it is a four-player battle, each player can control a maximum of four soldiers. The players can select a map to fight in: Greenwich Village, where there are four bunkers surrounding the flag; Brooklyn Rooftops, with four adjacent bunkers with the flag between the middle two bunkers on a building; and Fort Jay, a nighttime scene with four bunkers at the edge of the map with the flag in the middle Plot In an alternate present time, the Soviet Union brings an end to World War II by dropping the first atomic bomb on Berlin, redefining history. As a result, the Soviet Union never collapsed; it instead became the world superpower. Europe changed from democracy to communism with Great Britain as the last to join the communist bloc, albeit reluctantly. The Iron Curtain was extended to most of Asia, the Middle East and South America. Now, they are sending in their army to “liberate” America Chris and Troy Stone, plumbers, travel to meet with their next client- an anti-communist activist named Isabella Angelina. The Stones appear at her condominium only to find no one home, until Soviet soldiers led by General Tatarin raid the condo, seizing Troy. Amidst the attack on the city, Chris escapes to the streets, allied with a man named Mr. Jones and resistance member Phil Bagzton. They plan and carry out a rescue for Isabella, who is being held at New York police station, and shortly thereafter, Chris successfully rescue Troy Stone, who is being held hostage at a post office. Then the group retreats to the underground sewers as new York City falls to the Soviet invasion, along with the rest of the United States A couple of months after the rescues, Chris becomes known as the Freedom Phantom within the Soviet controlled-media, SAFN. Chris, Phil, and Isabella sabotage key Soviet facilities and reclaim territories within New York City, while building a strong resistance group consisting of New York inhabitants and disillusioned Soviet soldiers. While Chris’s brother Troy goes out of New York to go and recruit other “Freedom Fighters”. Despite fierce resistance from the Soviet occupation, they manage serious headway against the Red Army. During this time, Troy is captured by the Soviet forces and made to reveal the true identity of the Freedom Phantom to the media. He is later forced to make a public statement to Chris and the resistance group, reluctantly pleading them to cease their actions, while being led away he suddenly returns to the podium, urging Chris to keep fighting. For his defiant actions, Troy is taken to Governor’s Island and is executed by General Tatarin Mr. Jones reveals the grim news to Chris, suggesting retaliation in the form of the assassination of General Tatarin. Jones’ reasons for this are twofold: first, it will allow Chris to avenge his brother, and second, Soviet forces will be greatly weakened by the loss of Tatarin’s leadership. Chris succeeds and escapes Governor’s Island, only to return to find Isabella missing and the resistance main base controlled by the Soviets. Mr. Jones reveals himself to be Soviet Colonel Bulba, head of the KGB, explaining that this was how he managed to supply the resistance with information. Chris escapes with Phil Bagzton and The Kid to another underground base. SAFN later reports on the death of Tatarin, Colonel Bulba’s promotion to General, and subsequent, supposed “destruction” of the resistance in New York- in reality, the resistance has been scattered and taken to hiding During the winter, Chris, Phil, and The Kid lead an increasingly-determined resistance in Soviet-controlled New York City, climaxing with a raid on the SAFN Studios. They use the station to send a broadcast encouraging the people of New York and beyond to bring an end to the USSR’s occupation. Chris, Phil, and The Kid plan a final strategy against the Soviet occupation: an all-out assault on Governor’s Island consisting of all available strength of the now-massive New York resistance. After destroying and taking over multiple areas of the island including Fort Jay and rescuing Isabella, the resistance group celebrate their victory over the Soviets. Chris and Isabella talk about the future of the conflict, and they almost share a kiss, before being interrupted by Phil Characters Christopher Stone AKA “The Freedom Phantom” – Co-leader of the Manhattan Resistance. Brooklyn born and raised, Chris was a plumber before the Soviet invasion of the USA. He did not believe his brother’s anti-communist rantings, nor did he take any interest in the signs that a long-planned Soviet invasion was imminent. Chris escapes the forces of the Red Army and General Tatarin, going underground on the first day of the occupation Isabella Angelina – Co-leader of the Manhattan Resistance. Traveled extensively, became a political activist, protesting Soviet influence. Turned into a prominent leader of the resistance movement in New York, playing a key role in its liberation from the Soviets Troy Stone – Manhattan Resistance member. Brother to Christopher, assistant plumber Mr. Jones – Manhattan Resistance military and intelligence advisor. After Tatarin’s death he is revealed to be Soviet Colonel Bulba, General Tatarin’s adjutant, who orchestrated the events in the game leading to Tatarin’s death and his rise to power Phil Bagzton – Manhattan Resistance munitions expert The Kid – Manhattan Resistance supporter, deals with information, logistics, and putting messages of freedom on walls with grafitti, having little else to do since his boarding school was shut down by the Soviets General Vasillj Tatarin – Commander of the Soviet Occupation Force in the US and the primary antagonist until his death. Born in 1958 in the Asian Soviet republic of Uzbekistan, General Tatarin is a field warrior, hailing from a long line of soldiers. Tatarin is a highly skilled and accomplished soldier, the subject of great loyalty and respect from the men under his command Tatiana Kempinski – Soviet propaganda newscaster. Educated partly in the United States, spending several years there prior to the invasion, but as staunch a follower of the Soviet cause as anyone Development Audio The Freedom Fighters original soundtrack was composed by Jesper Kyd and released on September 29, 2003 by Sumthing Else and Nano Studios. It was Gamespot’s “Best Game Soundtrack of the Year 2003″ and Game Reactor Magazine’s “Best Game Music of the Year”. Tracks 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 14 and 16 are performed by The Hungarian Radio Choir.[1][2] The music has grand, Soviet-style, choral arrangements and the synth parts bring Vangelis to mind, indeed one reviewer referred to it as “Vangelis on steroids He describes his thinking behind the score thus I researched Russian music scales and specifically what makes Russian music so unique. The history of the Soviet Union and the Cold War conflict were also major contributing influences.
Not many people know this but I wrote the Freedom Fighters score in Manhattan right after 9/11. It was quite a strange time writing music for a story about a foreign power invading Manhattan I spent a lot of my time just playing the game to get a real, in-depth sense of the experiences that I needed to dramatize. I probably spent way too much time playing the game, but I just loved the fact that you could become a freedom fighter and help free New York City from an invading

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End GAME FOR PC is a 2007 adventure fantasy film, the third film in the Pirates of the Caribbean series. The plot follows Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, and the crew of the Black Pearl rescuing Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), from Davy Jones’s Locker, and then preparing to fight the East India Trading Company, led by Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander) and Davy Jones (Bill Nighy), who plan to extinguish piracy. Gore Verbinski directed the film, as he did with the previous two. It was shot in two shoots during 2005 and 2006, the former simultaneously with the preceding film, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest

The film was released in English-speaking countries on May 24, 2007 after Disney decided to move the release date a day earlier than originally planned. Critical reviews were mixed, but At World’s End was a box office hit, becoming the most successful film of 2007, grossing approximately $960 million worldwide, and making it the second most successful in the series, behind Dead Man’s Chest. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Makeup and the Academy Award for Visual Effects, which it lost to The Golden Compass and La Vie en Rose, respectively. It remains the most expensive film ever made, with a budget of $300 million. A fourth installment, On Stranger Tides, is set for release in theaters on May 20, 2011 To control the oceans, Lord Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander) executes anyone associated with piracy. Beckett, who possesses Davy Jones’ (Bill Nighy) heart, orders Jones to destroy all pirate ships. Condemned prisoners sing “Hoist the Colours” to compel the nine pirate lords comprising the Brethren Court to convene at Shipwreck Cove. However, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp), pirate lord of the Caribbean, never appointed a successor. Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) leads Will (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth (Keira Knightley), Tia Dalma (Naomie Harris), and the crew of Black Pearl to rescue Jack. Sao Feng (Chow Yun-fat), pirate lord of the South China Sea, possesses a map to Davy Jones’s Locker, where Jack is imprisoned. Will bargains with Feng for the Pearl in exchange for Sparrow, so Will can rescue his father from The Flying Dutchman.
The crew journeys into the Locker and retrieves Sparrow. As the Pearl seeks an escape route, dead souls float past, including Elizabeth’s father Weatherby Swann (Jonathan Pryce), who was murdered by Beckett. Tia Dalma reveals that Davy Jones was appointed by Calypso, Goddess of the Sea and his lover, to ferry the dead to the next world. In return, Jones was allowed to step upon land for one day every ten years to be with his love; when she failed to meet him, he abandoned his duty and transformed into a monster.
After returning to the living world, the Pearl is ambushed by Sao Feng’s flagship called the Empress. Sao Feng, then reveals his agreement with Will. Feng betrays Will, handing over the crew to Beckett in exchange for the Pearl. Beckett takes Sparrow aboard his vessel, the Endeavour, although Jack refuses to divulge where the Brethren Court will convene. Instead, Jack offers to lure the Court out in exchange for Beckett protecting him from Jones. Feng bargains with Barbossa to release the Pearl in exchange for Elizabeth, who he believes is Calypso trapped in human form. When Feng takes Elizabeth aboard to the Empress, the Black Pearl attacks the Endeavour, allowing Jack to escape. Meanwhile on the Empress, Feng tells Elizabeth that the first Brethren Court trapped Calypso in human form so men could rule the seas. When Davy Jones attacks the Empress, the mortally wounded Feng appoints Elizabeth as his successor. She and the crew are imprisoned in The Flying Dutchman’s brig. Bootstrap Bill reveals to Elizabeth that the person who stabs Davy Jones’ heart becomes the next captain of the Flying Dutchman. Admiral James Norrington (Jack Davenport) frees Elizabeth and her crew. They escape to their ship, but Norrington is killed by a crazed Bootstrap Bill Turner (Stellan Skarsgård).
Will leaves a trail of corpses for Beckett’s ship to follow. Jack catches Will and they discuss Davy Jones’ heart. Jack suggests he stab the heart, to solve Will’s conflicting obligations (freeing his father and Elizabeth), then tosses Will overboard after giving him his compass so Beckett can find Shipwreck Cove. Will is rescued by Beckett, and Davy Jones reveals that he masterminded Calypso’s imprisonment. At Shipwreck Cove, The pirate lords such as Barbossa, Ammand, Capitaine Chevalle, Sri Sumbhajee, Ching, Jocard, and Villanueva present their nine “pieces of eight”, but disagree over freeing Calypso. Barbossa calls upon Captain Teague (Keith Richards), Jack’s father and Keeper of the Pirate’s Code, to confirm that only a Pirate King can declare war. Elizabeth is elected King after Sparrow’s vote for her breaks a stalemate. She orders the pirates to war. During a parley with Beckett and Jones, Elizabeth swaps Sparrow for Will after realizing Jack and Will plan to have Jack stab the heart; swapping Jack places him on the Dutchman with the heart. Jack hoped for this to happen because if Jack was placed aboard the Dutchman, he could stab Jones’ heart. Barbossa steals Jack’s “piece of eight” and takes Elizabeth and Will back aboard the Pearl.
Barbossa collects Elizabeth’s “piece of eight” and uses the rest to free Calypso, who was bound as Tia Dalma. Will discloses that Davy Jones betrayed her to the Brethren Court. Her fury unleashes a maelstrom, in which the Dutchman and the Pearl battle. Sparrow escapes the Dutchman’s brig and steals the Dead Man’s Chest and then battles Davy Jones on the Dutchman’s masts. Will proposes to Elizabeth and Captain Barbossa marries them in the midst of battle. Will boards the Dutchman and defeats Jones’ first mate, Maccus with help from Jack the monkey which allows him to retrieve the chest. Elizabeth boards the Dutchman to save Will and Sparrow. Elizabeth battles Jones but is knocked down. When Will tries to save Elizabeth, he is mortally wounded by Jones. Sparrow places his sword in Will’s hand and helps Will stab Jones’s heart before he dies. Jack and Elizabeth escape The Flying Dutchman as the crew place Will’s heart in the Dead Man’s Chest; the ship disappears into the whirlpool. When the Endeavour moves to attack the Pearl, the Dutchman resurfaces with Will as the captain and the crew now human. When the Pearl and the Dutchman move towards the Endeavour, Beckett realizes that he no longer controls the Dutchman and becomes too nervous too respond to his men. When the Pearl and the Dutchman attack the Endeavour, Beckett’s first mate, Lieutenant Theodore Groves orders the marines to abandon ship. The Endeavour is destroyed and Beckett is killed. This causes the massive armada to retreat without a fight. Will is bound to sail the sea as The Flying Dutchman’s captain. Elizabeth bids Jack, Barbossa, and the crew farewell before Will and Elizabeth have one day together and consummate their marriage. He departs after giving Elizabeth the Dead Man’s Chest. Barbossa commandeers the Pearl, stranding Jack and Gibbs in Tortuga. Barbossa looks at the charts of the map for the Fountain of Youth with the crew, only to discover Jack cut out the middle. Jack sails from Tortuga in a small boat to find the Fountain of Youth
In a post-credit scene labeled Ten Years Later, Elizabeth and her son[2] watch from a seacliff as The Flying Dutchman appears with Will Turner aboard. Because Elizabeth has been faithful all this time, the curse is broken and Will is free, the Turners are reunited for good
